KERALA TOURISM : namkeen paani and day 1

Before I start putting the glances of god’s own country as they say ,that train journey extended over  the span of 48 hours deserves a firm mention .
The worst part of story was : no pantry car ,that simply means food was an issue and was like a setback to foodie people .People were racing between the halt time of train bringing something and something as its good to have something than nothing .And the best part of the story was :Chinua Acheyba. I was rushing through his cult classic magnum opus “things fall apart” till end of the journey before I completed it .
And when ever I passed by a lingering line ,it was a time to take a break and discuss.
"When the moon is shining the cripple becomes hungry for a walk."
Anyway the breaks  were variably filled by playing cards, sleeping and of course arguments.
Prolixity has never been alien to this country . You just need to put your tattered english accent sandwiched with desi tadka and topics ………….yes ,topics can be any thing like Why rich people go to big hospitals ?.
With time proceeding forward pushing the every last minute to oblivion, the height of coconut trees across the yards outside the compartment window were getting dwarf ..it smells kerala is approaching .Because dwarf trees precisely meant we are approaching a soil most fit and adaptive to this tree. Its coconut from where the word Kerala is derived . Kerala itself means coconut.

DAY 1: NAMKEEN PAANI
Last night I got a call from mummy "don't jump in water ,Many times engineering students have been hunted by waves ...they write in newspaper".
" yaa , I will surely see to it " I said .
But the very first impression of kollam beach was enough and enough to break apart rules that have been set.
The coconut paranoma , sea view hotels in front , and infinitum spread salty water that sometimes gets in your mouth and u fell a throat dryness, more over quivering between the lines of Coleridge
"water water every where /not a drop to drink".

And then a beach has many more things other than those hours of struggle with skirmish waves .Just move on and talk to that life-boat wallah. If you ever get a chance of drowning ,they are there to save you and once they assure you life they will charge like $500 or rs10000 like things .

And before I left this beach I heard one guy crying out "help me friend ,help me in fishing , help me in dragging this rope." Wow...I mean that was awesome .People white or black ,men or women joined the chain except little kids busy in playing with sands and water.

Twin kids playing /(I have put this pic on my desktop....loving it sort of )

Well after a short break we covered tribal villages ,valleys and then a walk on shankamugham beach .Situated near TVC airport the beach is rather  famous for the sagar kanyaka ,a sculpture .

And finally it rained ,while we were returning back to hotel .I just felt "kya yaar ,kerala aaye aur baris mein nahi bhinge ..to kya bhinge and that was enough to encourage myself to lance out of the auto car and drink the drops to the lees .

drinking drops to to the lees.

AND last yet far from the least was Padmanabham temple , A vishnu temple recently in news for a large amount of gold found out within .
As the norms suggest you need just one dhoti and nothing else to get in .

Any way ,it was a tough day .Tiring yet outstanding .And at the end of the day its journey that matters.

KERALA TOURISM :DAY 2 and ALLEPPEY BACKWATERS

May be because " It's always our self we find in the sea.”   or may be because the strong analogy water hold with life as it goes on irrespective of whatever it dissolves ...or may be the inductive serenity , You never get tired of water . “It is life, I think, to watch the water. A man can learn so many things.”  ―  Nicholas Sparks ,  The Notebook Comfort ,freedom, an aura of redemption and the sunny rays reflecting back from waves ,kissing my cheeks and knowingly or unknowingly melting the sun cream ...I have never expected more than this from nature . The day with Alappuzha/Alleppey was precisely a floating day  :Six good hours of boating across Alleppey backwaters . And it all began like this    The panoramic view of back waters taken from boat    Coconut trees have its own charm."And the kerala coconut beer is a must try, its sumptuous in taste and cheaper than kingfisher "said one resident. Anyway it was tough to  break off th
